Answer – Adventurous things that are risky can be really fun because when you accomplish them, it feels great. Even though there are a lot of challenges and uncertainties along the way, people still feel proud and happy when they overcome them. Take climbing Mount Everest, for example. It’s the tallest mountain, and many people have tried to climb it. The author says that when you reach the top, you feel super excited and proud, like you’ve won a big battle. It’s a really triumphant and joyful feeling. These experiences not only make you feel good about yourself but also make you stronger emotionally and mentally.

(iii) What was it about Mount Everest that the author found irresistible?
